Dizzy Zebra Designs was started at the beginning of 2022 after the passing of my grandma, Joy. She created my creative passions and it was something we always did together. I'm happy that I can keep doing this and honor her at the same time. I hope I can give people the same happiness she gave me and the passion she taught me.

The name Dizzy Zebra has been a joking nickname of mine for a long time. It refers to the fact that I suffer from several types of Dysautonomia though my main illnesses are POTS and EDS. I spent a lot of time-fighting my condition as I was told that it would take everything from me. It wasn't until I was 18 that I was told I would survive. I had a minor identity crisis after that where I had to find out what I wanted to live for. The one thing I wanted to keep doing was my art as it was always my best distraction. Dizzy Zebra is a reminder of my will to live and the fight I had to go through to be here today. I wanted to change the meaning from defining my struggles to marking one of the best parts of my life.

I make a lot of different forms of art but my main focus is on resin art. My favorite piece that I've done is the brown memorial heart that I have as a sample picture. For some reason, it was the one piece that I was drawn to right away. My goal with all my work is to have at least casting done in 2 days and ship 1 day after that. I try to get things done as fast as possible but if it will take longer than expected, I will reach out as soon as I figure that out. I try to make estimates as soon as I get an order as it gives me a timeline to work by. Of course, if you need something done by a specific date, please let me know! I check my email frequently and I can try to change my timeline a bit to make sure it's done and delivered as soon as possible. My current pace is dependent on item size. For small orders, I can do about 30 sets a day but for larger orders, it's usually around 10. My current prices cover only the cost of making the item. I only charge for materials used and don't include my own labor costs. This is the reason why I often charge much less (about half the cost) of other businesses. Prices may change depending on local costs of materials but they should only change by a few cents.

One thing I like throwing out is that I love getting suggestions and ideas. Most of the time, these are suggestions that I never thought of before and they give me a chance to expand my art. If you would like a certain thing added, please let me know. As long as I can get my hands on what I need, I'll do it. Even if it costs more for me to get some materials, it will follow the same pricing as everything in that category. I only include what I call active materials, meaning the materials I'm using which means resin and additives. If it's going to be reused, I often don't include the cost in calculations.

If there are days that pickups are allowed, I will post them on social media and will send an email. They take a lot of energy out of me so most frequently I would do them twice a month. These days depending on how I feel and how much stock I have. However, if you are local enough meaning in the Stevens Point and Plover area, I am willing to pickups or drop them off. These are on hold for the time being however due to car troubles but will be available once my car is fixed. Also, I do have a designated business phone which I'm working on properly setting up and once it is, you can directly text me any questions you may have. I'm trying to get it set up as soon as possible but I'm having so technical difficulties.

I hope that I can give you some of my art and have you enjoy them!
